SPANISH teacher
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Spanish Teacher to join our faculty. Our ideal candidate can speak and write fluently in Spanish and can get students excited about learning the language in the classroom. The ideal candidate will be able to use a blend of Montessori developed and Spanish as a World Language curriculum that enables students to read and write in Spanish, as well as speak both formally and conversationally. Cultural studies should be integrated throughout the curriculum to give students perspective on the history and development of the language.
Spanish Teacher Duties and Responsibilities
Teach students the Spanish language, including grammar and vocabulary.
Utilize curriculum to design lesson plans and prepare materials accordingly for each level.
Observe children for comprehension and do periodic evaluations.
Record keeping and progress report writing as directed.
Spanish Teacher Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's in education or related teaching experience
Fluency in the Spanish language
Communication skills
Proficiency in basic computer programs
Substitute Teachers at all levels wanted!
Substitutes wanted for all shifts - you pick when you are available! Shifts as early as 7:20 am or as late as 5:00 pm. Please apply below if interested for an interview for placement on the sub list. Substitute pay is $18-$19 per hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and be reliable.
