School Programs

Rock Prairie Montessori School has made a commitment to children. We believe the world's future depends on how children grow up. In each of our Montessori programs, a balance is achieved between a child's need for freedom of movement and social order, independence and concentration. Qualified caring adults guide a child to moments of discovery that give them great joy and a sense of dignity as an independent human being. Respect for oneself, for one another and for materials is the "ground rule" of our Montessori community. Preparation for life is inherent in the dynamics of each Montessori classroom.
